Tamar Island Wetlands

1.5 hour return (4 km return) –  National Park fees do not apply – entry by donation.

This walk leads through wetlands and across a river channel to the 7 hectare Tamar Island. There are numerous bird species as well as frogs, insects, snakes and lizards. The wetlands centre has a viewing platform, displays and information.

The track to the island is an easy, mainly level, boarded walkway. Tracks on the island have natural surfaces.
